The wheel bearing cr wheel seals are located on each side of the wheel hub, cylinder or spindle. They help to retain the grease inside the wheel bearings and protect it from contaminants. Cylindrical roller bearings accept higher radial loads than ball bearings, but have a lower load-carrying capacity than needle roller bearings and are incapable of withstanding thrust loads.
